A trip to Garden of the Gods.
Our massive rock formation started with a trip to Garden of the Gods. Landon saw an amazing formation there, mimicked it, and made water run through it.
He learned the craft from his mentor, Rick Purcell, who spent more than fifty years building rock for zoos and places like them around the world, and who went looking for a lighter way to do it. Most of what we make is still sculpted by hand. A few pieces are molded, so we can make them again.
