Every piece starts as a dream: an idea, a photo, a sketch on a napkin. Here is how yours becomes stone. From there our artisans sculpt it by hand, the way Landon was taught by his mentor, Rick Purcell, who built rock in zoos around the world for more than fifty years.
We start by listening, on the phone or in your space. What it means to you, where it goes, how it should look and feel. Bring the idea, the photo, the sketch.
We come back with mock-ups or renderings, so you can see it, change it and fall for it before anything is sculpted.
Our artisans sculpt it by hand and color it for the job, so it sits with the land or the room around it. A few pieces are molded, so we can make them again.
Light enough to ship and set yourself. Installation is available on request.
Rick built with GFRC panels, rock that weighed a tremendous amount and was awkward to move. He wanted the same mountains without the weight. That is what we make: rock that can be shipped, handled easily and set by you. And because it is light, we can build it from two inches to twenty feet.
